What do you do with your **spare** time?

Some of you might have read that and then snorted, or chuckled....What "SPARE" time are you talking about, Michelle? Did you happen upon a time warp/magical wishing well/fairy godmother that I don't know about? Well, no, and if I did, you know I would share that kind of intel - we all could use a little help. (I'm working on a cloning machine, so stay tuned!)

The kind of spare time I'm talking about is the time that we fill with mindless pursuits - mainly, for me - the computer and all it's bejeweled beauty.

Hello, my name is Michelle, and I am a facebook addict.

And I'm not the only one! If you are completely, unabashedly honest with yourself, you too, could admit this shameful sin. It's okay, the first step is admitting you can't control your problem/addiction. Or so I've heard. My point is this - what if instead of getting sucked into the vortex that is your little electronic friend, we actually filled that time with rewarding activities, like, checking off some of those nagging little "to do's" on your ever-growing list? (If you don't make lists, I can help you with that, too!)

It is hard to do, I know - but today I did it. And you know what? I mowed the lawn, played with the kids, whipped up a batch of gingerbread mix for the spooky halloween house we are going to construct later, cleaned the patio, cleaned the kitchen, did a load of laundry, and THEN I even had time to squeeze in a quick bejeweled game. And guess what? No one missed me on facebook that WHOLE time! Wow. (By the way, Luke just left with his Papa and Eagle is down for a nap, so no neglecting is going on by me taking the time to type this up!)

I know that most of you out there are perfect and don't have this problem, so it probably is just me...but if you find yourself at the keys, mindlessly cooking up some spaghetti and meatballs on cafe world, or farming your heart out on Farmville and you haven't been outside in days, maybe it's time to step away. Just take a break. It really won't hurt, I promise!

Pregnant Again!!

It's been a while since my last post, and there is certainly some updating that needs to take place, as you can read in the title!

YES, I am pregnant again....and feeling it! I have triumphantly marched to the 20th week of this pregnancy - and we will find out next week which color clothes we can start buying! Of course if it's more "boy parts" we have plenty of clothing to cover that up! It's strange, this was a "God's timing" pregnancy (certainly not mine, I would have waited until I melted off some more paddage) and it has caused mixed emotions - excitement, hesitation, deep contemplation, massive anxiety (can we handle all these kids???). But I also feel extremely blessed and in awe and wonder of how our bodies can pull off the amazing feat of growing another person. It's just incredible, I'm feeling him, I mean HER, kicking now and I can't believe the miracle is happening again!! I don't even want to contemplate names right now - we've used up all the boy choices so this little one might be named Nebuchadnezzar. Really. I think "neb" is kinda cute, I'm up for suggestions, though.

I love my babies so much - Josh is almost 18 months and he is the cutest thing I have ever seen. I could eat his succulent little gibbles (check/neck area) right off him! He is slowly starting to talk, he says "MIMI" and momma and daddy, baby, bye, ball, cheese...oh and "NO," which he learned from Luke yesterday. And Luke - at 3 - still sniffin' with his bink-blank (binkie-blankie)...the binkie fairy has come a couple of times, but it was a false alarm. (We found the binkie the next day). He was so excited, and I was happy because he was ready to give up his blankie, too - and I realized I didn't want all his babyhood taken away quite so fast!

Dyl isn't a baby at all anymore - he is 11 going on 16! Where does the time go?? I remember taking him to the Youth Center and picking him up after school and that seems like just yesterday, but it was 4 years ago! Wow.

Keep your eyes peeled for the big announcement...love you all!
